THIS1.700" INTAKE VALVE & PORTING YIELDS A 20% FLOW INCREASE. THIS RESULTS IN A 6 TO 7 HORSEPOWER INCREASE! AS FROM FORD, THE EXHAUST OUT FLOWS THE INTAKE, THIS IS A VERY BAD SITUATION FOR MAKING HORSEPOWER! USING THE HIGH PERFORMANCE INTAKE VALVE RESULTS IN AN INTAKE SYSTEM THAT OUT FLOWS THE EXHAUST. THIS GREATLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE EXCELLENT POWER GAIN!

THE EXHAUST PORT IN THE MODEL A FORD ENGINE FLOWS MORE THAN IS ACTUALLY IDEAL TO CREATE THE PROPER INTAKE TO EXHAUST BALANCE. THIS BEING THE CASE WE DO NOT RECOMEND MODIFYING THE STOCK EXHAUST VALVE SIZE OR SHAPE & DO NOT RECOMEND ANY PORT WORK BE DONE IN THE EXHAUST PORT.
